Candace 'n' Company, by Jordan Smith

Introducing Candace’s friend Ashley! Ashley actually appeared in a comic strip I drew many years ago, and she looked different back then. When I had the idea for today’s strip, I saw my chance to bring her back. The idea for this comic was inspired by those rare mornings when one is pleasantly surprised by what the bathroom scale says. The boss took it a bit too far, however, and tried to brag about his accomplishment! Unlike Candace, I don’t think Ashley works for the boss, so it was important for me to indicate that it was her who served him coffee (with Candace’s approval).
